Tier Two: Many Point Outfitters

The Many Point Outfitters Base operates a series of part and full day adventure programs both on and off camp property. Scouts and Venturers going into 9th grade and older will have the opportunity to explore the area surrounding Many Point while we supply most of the gear necessary for their adventures.

Some treks may have a fee of $10 - $25 to cover travel costs, depending on their distance from camp.

All-Terrain Vehicle Day Ride

Beginning with a training session on safe riding, turns, and stops, this course first teaches the basics of riding an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV).  After completion of the training course, you will get to ride on one of Many Point’s many ATV and snowmobile trails surrounding
the camp.

Registration for the ATV Day Ride will be done online and opens at noon on April 1st.
(This is the a Tier Two Trek that has an online registration system.  All other Tier Two Treks can be
signed up for upon arrival at Many Point with the Older Scout Adventure Request form.)

Scouts attending ATV Trail Ride will pay the normal camper fee and travel charges will be applied to unit bill after Scout participates in the program.

Maplelag Bike Trek

The ski trails at nearby Maplelag resort are a summer haven for mountain biking enthusiasts, with some challenging and technical stretches of trail that will test even the most experienced cyclists.

Itasca Multi-Modal (Day trip)

The nearby headwaters of the Mississippi River at Itasca State Park offer 16 miles of amazing riding on their paved bike course and Wilderness Drive Loop.  Along with the biking and kayaking, Scouts will get to visit the headwaters of the mighty Mississippi and the beautiful Lake Itasca.

Otter Tail River Kayak Trip (Day trip)
Kayak 11.5 miles on a wild stretch of the Otter Tail River. This portion of the river features lengths of Class I and II rapids. You will have the opportunity to kayak through the middle of a 100 year-old broken down dam.
