Merit Badge Makeup

For the past 78 years, Many Point has focused on helping Scouting units become stronger at camp and throughout the year. This includes supporting the unit’s and each individual Scout's advancement program. Some merit badges are difficult for Scouts to complete at camp. As a follow-up to advancement work done at camp, Many Point merit badge counselors will be available to review Scouts completion of merit badge requirements from September 1st to December 1st, 2024. If a Scout completes the requirements satisfactorily, they will be updated in Scouting Event. This event is entirely virtual.

Any merit badge the Scout did not have a chance to complete during camp will be included in the merit badge makeup. Scouts should be encouraged to complete their merit badge requirements as soon as possible.

Scouts will need to have started the merit badge at Many Point during the summer of 2024 and send documentation of completed requirements (including photos, scanned documents, and verification by the unit leader) to manypoint@northernstar.org. Please include all pertinent details in your submission, including:

  • Week at Camp
  • Which Subcamp (Buckskin, Ten Chiefs or Voyageur)
  • Scout(s) Name(s)
  • Badge(s) Scout(s) submitting for
  • Requirements Completed
  • Council & Troop number
