Family Camp

Family Camp Beach

We are your fun-filled, affordable vacation destination. Families of Scouts who are staying at Many Point can also enjoy the Scouting experience by staying at our full-service and fully staffed Family Camp. Once at camp, your family makes the choice to have each day be as active or relaxed as you desire. However, we encourage you to take full advantage of the program offered by our experienced, dedicated staff.

What Can I Do?

Our Family Camp is fully staffed, meaning there's always something happening. You and your family don't need to participate in every thing, but we want to make sure you always have something to do.

Check out our activity packed schedule to see all our available programs!

Besides the planned programs, we have a fully staffed and stocked beach, a trading post, and a shower house for you to use.

Reservation Policies

The Northern Star Council Camping Committee has developed a policy that provides families reserved for the coming summer the first opportunity to reserve their same facility for the same session the following summer.

There are two distinct time periods when reservations can be made for Family Camp.

  1. Priority Reservation: Beginning on March 1st of the current year through 12:00pm on the final day of their current year's camp session, families with a reservation to attend camp for the current summer have the exclusive opportunity to reserve the same facilities for the same session for the following summer.
  2. General Reservation: Beginning at 12:00pm the day after each camp session ends, any family may make a reservation for any open facilities for the concluded session for the following summer.

For example, a family with a cabin reserved for Week 2 for 2025 will be able to book that same facility for Week 2 of 2026 starting March 1st. They will be the only family able to book that cabin until noon on the Saturday of Week 2 of 2025. After noon, anyone can book that cabin for 2026 if the family did not choose to book it.

* Reservations made for a future year may be canceled if the unit or family does not attend camp as reserved in the current year. For example, if you book your same cabin for Week 2 for the following year but cancel your reservation for the coming summer, your reservation for the following summer may be cancelled.
